Base Nautica Flavio Gioia has been selected, for over 20 years, by so many cruisers as homeport for wintering.
Gaeta is conveniently located halfway between Rome and Naples, well connected with a train station which is just 5 km away. BNFG is strategically close to both Rome Fiumicino and Napoli Capodichino International airports, making it a strategic point for its international clientele.
The port is right downtown, within walking distance from shops, banks and historic sites.
Our family run the Company since 1966. Each single Guest is a valued one and is attentively welcomed and followed through every request. Checking in our guests almost feels like opening them our front door.
We often arrange trips and excursions, joining our Guests so to share experiences, learn more about the surrounding area and create precious memories.
Our goal is also to create the ideal conditions for a deep cultural exchange so that our Guests experience the most familiar and inspiring atmosphere possible.
The “Welcome to Gaeta” booklet is the outcome of all requests, researches and exchanges among the countless cruisers who landed at our docks truly enriching it with news and inspiring enquiries.

Vessels EU Entrance - Documents required
Pursuant to art. 212 of the EU Delegated Regulation n. 2446/2015, non-EU flagged pleasure boats are allowed to navigate in the territorial waters of the European Union under a "temporary admission" regime, with total exemption from import duties. Even if it is a period of uncertainty.
The period of temporary admission is limited to a period of stay within the territorial waters of the European Union of 18 months. Beyond this period, pleasure boats must be transferred outside EU territorial waters to then be able to return and start a new period of temporary admission.
