Base Nautica Flavio Gioia is a beautiful oasis within the Gulf of Gaeta for yachts up to 70mt in length. Due of the mild climate, it makes this port a perfect departure point for cruising vessels all around the Mediterranean.
Founded in 1966 by Vittorio Egeo Simeone, who understood and perceived the beauty of the Gulf of Gaeta and of its perfect positioning for a marina, the Base Nautica Flavio Gioio remains a family run business. His children Anna and Luca, who have inherited Vittorio’s passion for sailing and the sea, continue to manage the Base Nautica today.
The safe moorings available for all seasons, can welcome up to 200 yachts up to 70mt in length, making the Base Nautica one of the most important ports along the Tyrrenian Sea Coast. The docks are equipped with every service, and offer a secure berth throughout the year. It is also possible to dry dock during the winter season, where a quality, innovative boatyard is available for all maintenance demands whether large or small.
Base Nautica Flavio Gioia is situated between Rome and Naples, and is very close to the island groups of the Pontines with Ventotene, Ponza, and Palmarola as well as the Partenopee group of Ischia, Capri and Procida. The Base Nautica is an equal distance from Sicily and Sardinia as well, making the Marina a privileged location for luxury yachts, sailing yachts, and motoryachts of all sizes.
