Gaeta (Italy) is a wonderful location to leave your boat for the winter, as it lies between Rome and Naples, both with international airports. The professional staff of the Base Nautica Flavio Gioia will take very good care of things in your absence, and when you are on board they remain at your disposition for eventual needs. The marina has always been a family run business for the past 51 years.
Jayne Koehler - Port Officer
Jayne Koehler is our marina Port Officer, and she will help you with your arrival, and give you all the support you need for your stay at the marina. Jayne is an itinerant cruiser herself, and owner of a wonderful S&S Swan 47, so she well understands your boating needs.
During your stay, we organize no stress impromptu events for anyone interested in participating. These go from cocktail parties on the terrace, to dock parties, and most fun of all, the road trips to nearby venues that offer the natural beauty, historical interest, and gastronomical specialties of the area we visit. The strategic positioning of Gaeta (Italy), along with its story alone, guarantee a wealth of opportunities to discover one of the richest historical hubs in all of Italy. From Rome to Pompeii, it’s all only a day away… And the town of Gaeta is a welcoming community of small shops and merchants that offer fresh Italian fare, most of it from the immediate area. Being a crossroad for cruisers, it’s a great stop to check out when moving east or west. And who knows, maybe you’ll decide to stay awhile…

Dal 2009 Seven Seas, Crouising Association, riconosce La Base Nautica Flavio Gioia come punto di riferimento per il suoi ospiti per tutto il centro sud d’Italia.
